ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING DATES 2017:

SUNDAY- JANUARY 15, 2017 – 2PM at THE EAGLES CLUB, 1200 GALENA AVENUE, FREEPORT, IL 61032

*At the Annual Membership Meeting, voting for Board members will take place for those seats up for election or for vacant seats. Terms for board members are three years or shorter term based on resignation or vacancies. Maximum number of board members are eleven. To be eligible to be on the Board, a person must be: nominated, submit a nomination interest form (reasons why interested on serving on board and any experience that would serve as a benefit to the shelter, be 18 years or older, and be a Member of the Shelter for 60 days prior to the election. No person may serve on the Board who is a relative, including but not limited to: a parent, child, or spouse of a paid employee or of a current acting board member. Any conflicts of interest shall be disclosed. Member eligible to vote at the Annual meeting must be a paid member having submitted a completed membership application (new or renewal) at least 60 days prior to election. Immediately following voting for board members, Officer Elections will be voted upon by those board members.

*Friends Forever Humane Society Board Meetings are held on the 3rd Sat. morning of every month at 9 am at Friends Forever Humane Society (FFHS), 966 Rudy Road, Freeport, Illinois 61032. We hope you will attend!!!
