Patrick Allseits, 11, of Pearl City, has been insisting his parents John and Lisa get him a dog for the past few years. Patrick wanted a brown and white, big dog. The family looked at Friends Forever Humane Society a few years ago. Their first attempt to adopt was denied. Lisa said, she felt it was because Patrick has special needs. Patrick was heartbroken.
