Begining September 12, 2011, FFHS will be changing the hours of the shelter.  The new Shelter hours are as follows:

Tuesday through Sunday the Shelter will be open from 12 noon until 4pm.  The shelter will not be open late on Wednesdays.  The shelter will also be closed to the public on Mondays in order to allow special training, routine medical care, and behaviorial testing of the animals to proceed uninteruppted.  We appreciate everyone’s support as we continue to fulfill our mission providing for our companion animals.  The shelter will also be closed for recognized holidays.  The Dog Park will continue to remain open daily from dawn until dusk.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call the shelter at 815-232-6164.
